| If you have thought about making diving your life or maybe just reducing the cost of your dive vacations then the Divemaster Course is for you. At Big Blue the Divemaster course is treated with the seriousness it deserves. If you select our Deluxe option you will during your internship not only complete the training agencies requirements (including making an underwater map and emergency plan, assisting instructors as they lead other courses, demonstrating your rescue skills in a scenario and others), you will also experience firsthand the day to day job of a Divemaster, such as equipment maintenance, customer relations, sales and other necessary skills. After completion of your course you will also receive a work reference to support your future career in the dive business.
The Standard option is for the time conscious and can be done in 8 days.
You will find that there is no
more rewarding experience than following the Big Blue staff
through their work and becoming a part of the team. Your confidence
level will soar when you begin to lead fun divers under the
supervision of a professional and gradually start to take more
responsibility. As you gain confidence, you gain employability
as well. The course can be tailored to your individual needs
and schedule, but remember, the more you put in, the more you
will get out. At Big Blue we recommend that you allow four weeks
for completion of the Deluxe option in order to receive the
full benefit of your education.
Deluxe option For the extended internship you will need to have your own set of diving equipment. If you do not have any equipment we sell x-rental equipment at very low prices. The equipment is in good condition and newly serviced. Please ask for a quote.
Prerequisites: Rescue
certification or equivalent and minimum of 20 dives to begin
the course and a minimum of 60 dives before certification.
